My name is Dani, short for Danielle, and I’m from a small town in BC. I am the owner and sole photographer of DLR Photography, a full time, natural light, on location, traveling, photography business. Specializing in weddings, engagements, portraits and boudoir. Currently serving coast to coast in Canada. From British Columbia to New Brunswick. I am an avid animal lover, knitter, singer, amateur guitar and piano player, and currently learning to play the ukulele. My work has been featured in various publications online and in print!
I really try and infuse myself in the lives of those I am surrounded by that day because I want them to feel as comfortable with me as possible, and feel like I am more so a friend, that they could come to for anything, than someone they have just “hired”. I want people to be able to rely, confide, and have full confidence in myself and my abilities throughout the wedding process. I am always there to lend a hand, a suggestion, and a referral, to my brides when they are planning their weddings. I think what makes me unique is my ability to attack any problems that may arise on a wedding day. I preform very well under pressure and stress, and I am incredibly organized. Like … seriously organized. I’ve also done makeup for brides, fixed hair, fixed veils and ripped dresses, dealt with family crisis’, difficult vendors, all while keeping my cool and making sure the bride doesn’t have to worry about a thing. I am there for you and I will do my best to keep reminding you of that. I will go above and beyond, every moment leading up to and on your day. Creating thoughtful, romantic, fun, fresh, and genuine images is what I strive for with every wedding. Excellent customer service is the utmost important aspect of DLR Photography which every client deserves.
